Our Services

We have designed a five-part model, called ACCEL™, to provide a comprehensive, integrated approach to our services. ACCEL™ is a culture-based framework that adapts and builds upon the work of fellow Indigenous researchers, Kanaʻiaupuni and Kawaiʻaeʻa.

Accountability

We use both qualitative and quantitative data to guide decisions, measure impact, and hold ourselves and our partners accountable for meaningful outcomes.

Community

We recognize that lasting change happens in community. We value the knowledge, experiences, and contributions of individuals, families, organizations, and communities in the design and delivery of our services. We value the contributions of community—small and large—in the development of our services.

Context

We create learning experiences that begin with self-reflection and build toward meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and action. We recognize that learning is shaped by the unique experiences, cultures, and environments of those involved.

Education

We create meaningful learning experiences that honor existing knowledge, connect research to practice, and empower individuals and communities to grow together.

Language

We use language that is clear, accessible, and inclusive. By communicating in ways that everyone can understand, we foster shared understanding, build trust, and ensure that all voices can meaningfully participate.

to sow is to be intentional from the beginning and during change.
